Sandra completed her Law Practice Program (LPP) practical training with Carroll Heyd Chown LLP and joined the firm as an Associate following her call to the Bar of Ontario in 2026. She maintains a civil litigation practice and assists with employment litigation matters. She is also developing an interest in immigration law and is building her knowledge and experience in this area.

Sandra took an unconventional route to the legal profession. She attended The City Law School in London, England, where she completed an accelerated two-year Bachelor of Laws degree. Her time in London gave her the opportunity to study law in an international environment while becoming involved in a number of legal societies. Outside the classroom, she also followed athletic pursues by joining her university’s cheerleading team and competing in cheerleading competitions.

Before law school, Sandra completed an Honours Bachelor of Applied Science at the University of Guelph and a Diploma in Community Justice Services from Humber College. Her varied academic background and experiences have shaped her practical and people-focused approach to the practice of law. Sandra takes the time to understand the circumstances and objectives behind a legal problem and works to provide clear, practical advice to help her clients move forward.

Sandra is passionate about the arts and her local community. She serves as a Director of Theatre by the Bay and enjoys attending theatre productions, community events and supporting local artists. Outside of the office, Sandra enjoys spending time with her family and friends and with her cat, Loki, and dog, Snoopy.

Sandra is bilingual and fluent in both Arabic and English.
