Kaitlyn joined CHC as a legal assistant in 2018. She rejoined our firm as an Associate after graduating from the University of Windsor – Faculty of Law in 2023, completing her summer student positions and Articling Student placement with her CHC family. She was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2024. Kaitlyn maintains a broad civil litigation practice with experience in construction law, personal injury, mortgage enforcement, neighbour disputes, and contractual disputes. She is committed to providing practical, strategic advice and effective advocacy to help clients achieve the best possible outcomes.
Kaitlyn earned her Bachelor of Arts and Science (Honours) from Lakehead University in 2017 and went on to complete the Paralegal Ontario College Graduate Certificate program at Georgian College in 2017. After working closely with the lawyers of CHC, Kaitlyn attended the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law 2020, obtaining her juris doctor in 2023. During her time at Windsor Law, Kaitlyn volunteered as a caseworker with the Legal Assistance of Windsor office, assisting with Ontario Disability Support Program and Ontario Works applications and disputes. She also volunteered as a peer mentor for incoming law students.
Born and raised in Barrie with strong ties to the community, Kaitlyn enjoys participating in local charitable fundraisers and community activities. Life’s experiences have helped shaped Kaitlyn’s passion for mental health awareness and advocacy. Kaitlyn is currently a member of the executive committee of the Ontario Insurance Adjusters Association, Georgian Bay Chapter and BNI Simcoe Advantage. In her free time, she can be found on the volleyball or pickleball courts with friends and family or hiking around Ontario with her rescue dog.
