Alicia is an associate practicing in the areas of estate litigation, employment law, and general civil litigation. She joined Carroll Heyd Chown in May 2019 as a summer student and completed her Integrated Practice Curriculum placement with us in the fall of 2019. Alicia graduated from Lakehead University’s Bora Laskin Faculty of Law in 2020. Prior to law school, she attended Wilfrid Laurier University and graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy.

While attending Lakehead, Alicia was a caseworker with the student legal clinic providing legal services to low income residents of Northwestern Ontario. She also volunteered with the Elizabeth Fry Society of Northwestern Ontario delivering resources and programing to incarcerated and criminalized women.

Born and raised in Midland, Ontario, Alicia is excited to be back in Simcoe County. When she is not at the office, Alicia spends her time outdoors, hiking or canoeing with her dog, Beau.”
